■ 풀이

문제 요구사항

 

Hermione decides the best way to choose is by determining the minimum number of gold galleons needed to buy each non-evil wand of high power and age.

> 최소 갤런으로 살 수 있으며 가장 높은 power와 age에 non-eveil인 것을 사고자 함.

지팡이별로 gold galleons이 가장 낮은(가장 저렴한) 지팡이를 뽑으려면, code와 power에 대해 그룹핑해줘야하는데

id 가 있으면 그룹핑이 되지 않는다. (Wands에서 id는 고유값)

 

우선 최소 갤런값인 지팡이를 구하기 위해 code와 power에 대해 그룹핑하여 출력해준다

Join 

minimum gold galleons 인 지팡이의 id를 찾기 위해 기존의 W테이블인 W2와 inner join 해주는데

id가 정확하게 매칭되도록 code, coin_needed, power를 join 조건에 모두 넣어주어야 한다.

 

minimum gold galleons 인 지팡이는 same power라면 descending age를 우선사항으로 두었기 때문에 age정보가 있는 Wands_property 테이블 WP와도 inner join 해준다.

공통컬럼은 code

 

Where : 전체 조건

 이렇게 되면 minimum gold galleons 을 갖는 지팡이의 id, age, coins_needed, power 정보를 출력할 수 있다.

여기서 헤르미온느가 요구했던 지팡이의 남은 조건 non-evil

non-evil은 WP 테이블에 있으므로 where절에 조건으로 추가해준다.

 

Order by : 정렬

마지막으로 요구사항의 선택 순위에 따라 power 가 큰 순서대로, same power라면 age 순서대로 목록이 필요했으므로

ORDER BY power DESC, age DESC 해주어 요구사항에 맞는 지팡이 목록을 출력할 수 있었다.

minimum gold galleons 의 지팡이들을 찾은 후에 이것의 id를 찾기 위해 다시 원래 테이블과 조인하는 것을 생각해내기 어려웠다..
